Lynchburg annexed part of Bedford County in the 1970's. All other annexations were from Campbell County. You may want to check this out. There is a section around No Business Mtn. that is in Bedford County. This area was in Albemarle County for a short time. I dont know the exact dates but I'd say 1740 to 1765.I connect to the Bright and Gaddy families that lived in that area. When Edward Bright purchased his land it was Albemarle County.
