In 1791 Edmund Burras purchased 200 acres from Sam Campbell.I did a chain-of-title to locate this site and was able to locate the area. I located part of it on a current tax map. It would be north of present day Montvale and comes close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is very close to Botetourt county.
