Hi Dell

The first name of Raleigh/Rawley/Rolley is always of interest to me, so I pulled this up for you. Not much but I hope it helps.

From Bedford Co Records

1782 Jan 31 ROLLY CROUCH + Mary Ann WITT

He is listed as Surety at the following marriages :
1813 Mar 6 Eunice CROUCH + Stephen Overstreet
1826 Dec 20 Nancy CROUCH + Elijah Drury
1835 apr 30 Nancy CROUCH + Willis Cundiff

It's possible that these are his dts.

1841 Dec 21 Charlotte CROUCH + Wm Bates
Marriage bond states she is the dt of Rolley (sp)

In April 1841 Rolly (sp) m Jane Newman.

Now a few other sources I've checked list Rolley/Rawley/Raleigh CROUCH with B as a middle initial. That might be a clue for you ?

As for Thomas CROUCH, he m Nancy Turner on May 8 1838. Franklin Turner was surety. He m Patsy Hogan in Bedford Co Mar 20 1817.

Nancy D
