This is just a bit tardy but ...
Rachel Smith, d/o John Smith of "The Pocket" in Pittsylvania County, Va married Stephen Goad, son of William Goad, ca 1790. They went to Grainger and White County, Tenn. 1810 and Stephen died ca 1825 in White. Rachel took her family to Warrick, stopping briefly in Wilson County, Tenn where some of the clan married. Rachel and children left a huge progency in Warrick for the next century or more. Some of Rachel's Smith relatives went along to Warrick. Off hand,I'm not sure whether Achilles was a brother or nephew but his age will tell you that. Achilles was a name in the Smith family carried into the Goads of Warrick.
