Hi Evelyn,

Thanks for the response. I have an historical map drawn by J.R. Hildebrand in 1973 that I am using. Is that the same historical map you are referring to?
I have several Thurman deeds that say the land is located on the "north side of Johnson Mountain" and I am trying to pinpoint the area. The Johnson Mountain east of Huddleston appears to be the one being referred to but it is not shown on my map. I have deeds with the same names located on Difficult Creek, tributary of Goose Creek so the locale of that particular mountain makes sense. Thanks again. Darrell Thurman
