Justin, Glad to hear from someone researching this family. I ran into so many dead ends that I haven't thought or looked at this family for a long time. Your theory that George Brown and Arabia Brown, Sr were likely brothers is what I suspect also. I need to go through my notes to see if I have anything that might be of interest to you. I know Arabia Brown my ancestor who finally settled in Wayne Co. Mo and his wife Catherine (Brittain), had at least these children, Napolian, Catherine and perhaps Mahala. Census records for 1820,30 & 40 indicate there were more. Other than the deed from Sarah Brown, widow of George, to Arabia Brown of Caldwell Co Ky, I know I have nothing to tell you that might shed some light on the ancestry of Arabia. I can't place my Arabia in Caldwell Co in 1816. Caldwell Co. Ky is just one county north of Stewart Co. Tn., where in 1820 he was on the census. Quite possibly he was in Caldwell Co during 1816 and moved the short distance to Stewart Co. Tn. by 1820. Have seen his name given as Raba Brown. Will get back with you after I check more into my notes and gear my mind more on this family. Dorothy Notify Administrator about this message?
