There is a Bertram's Branch which flows into Elk Creek southeast of Bellvue. Elk Creek flows into the Big Otter River.

This could be your Butram's Branch. William's heirs George and Mary Ray sold the property you mention to William Calloway 6-7-1782, Book 7, p. 14.
