1814 John Wright of Bedford County and 1809 William Wright of Franklin County are totally unrelated. The Y-DNA of each is given at the Wright DNA Project at http://www.wright-dna.org/. The Y-DNA haplogroup of 1814 John Wright is listed under John the Carpenter and is R1a1 and the haplogroup of 1809 William Wright is listed under 1792 John and is R1b1b2.
1823 James Wright of Franklin County was a son of 1809 William Wright of Franklin County and grandson of 1792 John Wright of Fauquier County and possibly the great grandson of John Wright (Westmoreland County Overseer).
I have been unable as yet to identify the parents of Sarah (Wright) Viar/Vier/Viah. The burned record status of Buckingham County makes it difficult to trace the Wrights in that county. There were four Wrights listed in the 1784 Personal Property Tax List in Buckingham County and Sarah could have belonged to any of them.
Mary "Polly" (Wright) Abshire was a daughter of 1839 John A. Wright of Franklin County, granddaughter of 1830 William Wright of Franklin County, great granddaughter of 1809 William Wright of Franklin County, great great granddaughter of 1792 John Wright of Fauquier County, and possibly the great great great granddaughter of John Wright (Westmoreland County Overseer).
I would be happy to exchange information on these Wright lines with other interested researchers.
