I realize this is an old message I'm replying to, but I hope my reply gets through anyway. I too am also looking for information on this Thomas Farmer of Bedford, Virginia.

I'd like to have a report or a URL for a website with all of his known ancestors & descendants. Please, not the Barber site or the Farmer Family Org site. I have these already and they are informative, but I'm hoping to find info strictly on this Thomas Farmer & Family.

By Y-DNA results (FTDNA), my Farmer family is related to the Thomas Farmer family of Bedford, and I would like to know as much as possible about this Farmer family since I am dealing with a brickwall in my own personal research.

My brickwall is Thomas "James" Farmer, b: circa 1760, d: circa 1837, Newton Co., GA. He appeared in the 1827 GA Land Lottery as "James Farmer, R.S., while living in Henry Co., GA. I have no idea who his parents were, his siblings, or even who he married. I do however have lots of info on his GA records, and the names of most of his children. I descend through his son, Ira E. Farmer.

If you have questions or would like to share family data then please email me personally. Thanks! TJM
