I am also researching a fellow named David H. Goodman, born 1807, Virginia, who might have been David Horsely Goodman.

He migrated to Greene County Illinois, married twice, and then ended up in Missouri, settling at or near Louisiana, in Buffalo Township in Pike County, right on the banks of the Mississippi, facing Illinois.

I see from a cursory glance at census records, that one David Goodman shows up in Bedford County on the 1810 census, and wonder if the David I am researching might be his son?
