Hello Bob, thanks for responding to my message. I am trying to research my grgrgrGrandfather James Gillenwater Wright who was married to Sarah Caruthers (daughter of Major William Caruthers), I am trying to find his parents, he was born around 1809 in North Carolina or Alabama. I was thinking that the name Gillenwater might of came from his mother's side. James and Sarah were married in Tennessee around 1828 and were in Austin's second colony around 1831 in Texas with their first born child. I have information that he practiced Native American medicine. I would appreciate any information that you come across that could help me out. Do you have the children's names of John Wright and Keziah Gillenwater?
Thank you Martha
