I would appreciate any information on the William Casey living in Bedford Co. VA in the 1810 census. The age bracket for his wife and himself was 26-45. He had 2 daughters and 3 sons under 16. There was also another household, John Casey, age 26-45, living alone.
I am trying to determine if this William Casey was the husband of Martha/Patsy Casey who lived in Henry Co. VA in 1820 and 1830. Martha had 3 sons and 2 daughtersin 1820. In 1830 Martha had 2 sons and one dau still at home, but living nearby are Thomas, James, and William Casey.
Is there any connection between Martha's family and the William C. Kasey who married Sally Wright, Jan 1830 in Bedford Co. Va?
Maybe no connection, but I am trying to be sure. My ancestor was George Casey, brother to Thomas Casey. George, Thomas, and James eventually lived in Missouri.
