I have a FUQUA connection. John Fuqua b. 1815 (d. after 1858) marrried Mary Polly Taylor on Jan. 14, 1841. They lived in Sumner TN then moved to Robertson TN. Their children were Sarah Fuqua, Wm. and James, Mary, John and Thomas.
Mary Polly Taylor was a sister to my greatGrandpa Hezekiah Taylor, 1799-1880) Her other siblings were: Chesley, David and Pleasant Taylor who were in Campbell Co. VA in the early 1820's. Mary Polly Taylor had sisters: Spicey and Massey Taylor who married Wm. and Jonathan Pryor and other sisters of Mary Polly were: Jane and Elizabeth who remained single. These siblings were the children of Edward and Elizabeth Taylor who were in Campbell Co. from 1800-1824....some later moved to White Co. TN and Sumner Co. TN and others (my line) migrated to Overton TN. I would love to know who were the parents and siblings of this John Fuqua....I saw where there was a James Fuqua in Robertson Co. on the 1820 census but don't know if they connect.
