Obediah Davis Hogan - Searching for marriages & Children:
I have that Obediah Davis Hogan, 4 Nov, 1818 son of Charles Hogan and Mourning (Mary) (Mono) Hogan (nee Dickerson?)
married: Malinda Epperson Scott 6 December 1842.
Five Children:
1. Mary Elizabeth Hogan,b. 1843
2. William Davis Hogan, b. 1845
3. Sarah Jane Hogan, b. 1848
4. James Turner Hogan, b. 1850
5. Nancy Frances Hogan, b. 1853.
Marriage Bonds, Surnames beginning with S.
Dec 6, 1842; Obediah Hogan & Malinda Scott, dt Lizy (Lucy),Joshua Scott,Surety. --------------------------------
It was told to me that he had another wife and some of these children belonged to the 2nd wife. Do any of you have any proof of a second marriage or that these children are not of the first marriage? Thanks.
