Emma S. Bodkin, b 1855 in Bath Co., VA. Her father was George Bodkin(s), b 1814 in VA. He was a farmer/blacksmith. He married a Barbara ??, b 1820. They had the following children:
1. Mary E, b 1838
2. William H., b 1840
3. Margaret S., b 1842
4. Nancy R., b 1844
5. Joseph B., b 1846
6. John P., b 1848
7. Ella C., b 1850
8. Emma S., b 1855, married Lloyd Drummond in Braxton Co., WV in 1886.
9. Charles T., b 1859 or 60 and died very young.
The census info above came from the 1860 Upshur Co., WV census. Also in birth records for that county was the birth of an Emily Bodkin in June of 1856. She must have died young, too.
Does anyone have any info on the George Bodkin family/ancestry?
