Looking for info on John Grandstaff
Posted by: Deborah Brown (ID *****9130) Date: September 19, 2012 at 14:21:17
  of 1702

I have tax receipts for 1850, 1853, 1854, 1855, 1860 and 1861 in Augusta Co. for John Grandstaff, who owned 200 acres of land at that time. Also, bills of sale for him for 1856-1859 at B & J.S. Crawford, "dealers in fancy & staple dry goods."

Did he marry into the Myers/Moyers/Miar family of Shenandoah and Hardy Cos.? The above documents were in with original documents for my Myers families.

Thanks.
