Hi Payton,

My name is Virginia Knipper and I'm doing some research for a friend of mine. Her ancestor is James Pilford II, born 1762, died 1801. He resided in Amherst County, Virginia.

This is the gist of what she's told me. If you could check to see if he appears in your genealogy book, I would be deeply grateful.

She has been searching for a long time without result, so I am trying to help her.

Thank you,

Ginny Knipper
