You’re welcome. Here are some additional names of persons (just in case that you don’t have them already) who may possibly be related to Philip and/or assist anyone doing research on the Stephens family in Amherst Co. Virginia and Burke Co. N.C.:

1783 Amherst County’s Heads of families names one named James “Stevens”
1785 Amherst Co’s Heads of families names James Stephens and Barnett Stephens.

There’s a Thomas Stephens named in a 1787 court record (“William Wright vs. Thomas Stephens”) in Burke County, N.C. Records, Vol. 3; (by Edith W. Huggins).

There’s an Elizabeth Stephens named in the 1800 federal census for Burke Co, N.C. (the only Stephens named in that census).
