Flournoy,
Sorry but I can not find a reference to William Angus in the book, Amherst County, Virginia In the Revolution.

I have a question for you, where did you get the location "Lincastle, Amherst County Virginia"? I have never heard of the place but we do have a Fincastle, Botetourt County, Virginia.

I did find reference to a William Angus married to Elizabeth in Amherst County Deed Book G, page 667. It list his children as James, Jenny, Mary, William, Elizabeth & Alex. Is this your William?

Payton
