Carole, I am trying to connect my ancestor Samuel Burk b. abt. 1800 Salsbury, Rowan Co. NC, married Christina Tenpenny b. abt. 1810 Salsbury, Rowan Co. NC daughter of Daniel Tenpenny, to Samuel Burk Jr. and Sr. (subjects of wills you provided). My research has shown a strong connection to the Finley family. Samuel Burk Jr. was executor of Margaret Finley's will and there are numerous land transactions with the Finleys. My Samuel Burk's will 25 Dec 1871, Cannon Co. TN., is witnessed by Thomas and Josephus Finley.
The children of Samuel and Christina are:
Newton Jasper 1836-1911 m: Armentia Sullivan in Cannon Co.,
Nancy A. m. B. Hayes
Jane C. m: John C. Greer (Green)
John 1831 - Jul 1860 m: Nancy Peden
Daniel m: Sarah Peden
Mary E. m: William Brandon
Sarah b. 1840 m: Caphus Hailey
Isabella m: Baswell Gaither
Mariah
David d. 1917 m: Nancy Peden, widow of brother John.

If you know of any connections or have any ideas I would be very grateful. Thanks for help.
Diane
