I wish I could give you the parents of James Tapley Bolling. That is what I am searching for also. The only possible clue would be a deed signed by Tapley Boling in Pittsboro County Court House. He signs all his rights and titles to military land warrent No. 721 for 640 acres to a ___Huckabee. in 1824. He was one of the representatives and heirs of William Boling. Could be a brother or cousin or could be a son. Never did receive any reply to my request from Amherst County Heritage Book.
