Sonny...Charles Martin b. 01-JAN-1788 d. 21-JUN-1855 m. 19-NOV-1810 Joyce Tomlinson b. 1794 d. 1865. She was the d/o Ambrose Tomlinson & Mary Tomlinson. Ambrose & Marys children: William, Elizabeth, Nancy, John, Mary, Anne, Ambrose, James, Joyce & David. Charles & Joyce's children: Elijah, Reason, James Washington, Eliza, Sarah Frances, Charlie, Powhatan, Bettsie, Neopolion, Martha, Louise, Julia, Mary & Kate. I have not proven all of these children. My gr-grandmother was Sarah Frances Martin b. 22-MAR-1828 d. 04-DEC-1912 m. 16-FEB-1853 to James A. R. Kirk b. 19-DEC-1830 d. 07-SEP-1912...children Mary Elizabeth, Susan, Charles, James, Martha Louise, Lincoln G. Hampton, Emmanuel Valentine "E. V." & Hamilton Fisher. "E.V." was my grandfather.
He married (1) Pauline B. Emps, children Myrtle & Ocie; (2) Betty (Arthur) King, children Lura Delma, Elsie Mae, Jimmie & William Elva who m. Madeline Painter.
