Looking for information on an Isaac
Hutch( )son who I believe was born abt 1806-1814 in Amherst Co. VA. He migrated to Kentucky. In a Kentucky census it gave James River as his birthplace. In a VA Gazateer it stated that James River was a post village of Amherst Co. I have never been able to verify this. Was there post village in Amherst Co. called James River in the early 1800s? Also, the census stated that Isaac's parents came from Ireland. Have hit a brick wall so far. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

FRAN
