FLETCHER , Gray, Tucker, Keatts 1743-1765 Amelia County
Posted by: Bobby Christall (ID *****3192) Date: October 03, 2013 at 06:18:35

My name is Nadine Christall and I do FLETCHER genealogy
I am a descendant of Thomas Fletcher (Apr 1762-Dec 1838) who died in Halifax Virginia.

We believe that Thomas Fletcher was related to Richard Fletcher or James Fletcher (son or brother) who lived in Amelia County Virginia around the Deep Creek area.

Richard Fletcher obtained 300 acres in Prince George CO on the upper side of Woody Creek of Deep Creek on the tower side of Kitts/Keatts branch 27 Jan 1734
Several land transactions followed naming JOSEPH GRAY, GEORGE DAVENPORT, RORK BAIRD, RICHARD FLETCHER and JAMES FLETCHER,NATHAN FLETCHER, JOHN WEST, and JOHN MAY, GEORGE TUCKER and his son, ROBERT TUCKER. These were all neighbors

Curtis Keatts son, William Keatts, lived in Halifax/Pittsylvania County VA next door to Thomas Fletcher's son, John W. Fletcher in the 1800-1828 era.

Any additional information on these familes would be appreciated.

Nadine Christall
