Hi,
Patrick H. Butler, widower, married a woman from Amelia County. Her first name appears to be Almedia. Family history says last name was Wiley.

Her father died in Amelia County on Sept. 7, 1869. Are there death records which might reveal his name?

She inherited from him two farms, one of 242 acres, which appears to be called Belmont, and one of 462 acres near Amelia Courthouse.

She died and by 1871, her husband Patrick Butler had married a 3rd time to Maria L. Campbell of New York.

Correspondence mentions a Dr. Pollard, as if he were involved in the estate in Amelia County or perhaps bought the second farm.

Would appreciate any leads on the Amelia County wife's name.
