Hi Bonnie,
My great-great grandfather was named Edmund Jackson Booker and he was born in Virginia about 1820 +/- 2 years. I do not know what county. His father (or possibly uncle) may have been named Edmund Booker born 1-10-1789 d 3-1-1852. Edmund Booker and a Joseph P. Booker appear in the 1830 Census in Tipton County, Tenn. Edmund Jackson was married in Tipton county in 1842. Edmund Jackson was a steamboat captain and his homeport was Memphis. If you have any records of these people, the information would be appreciated. I am at a standstill with my research and have been unable to get past Edmund Jackson! Thank you. Nancy Booker
