Hello Thurman, unfortunately I can't give the the parents of Christopher Ford but I have quite a bit of information about him and his wife Lucy Lewis and their children.
I descend from William Ford who's father we also have not been able to Identify. William and Christopher Ford both are on loads of documents together in Amelia co. Va. but I haven't been able to find their connection. My William is not listed as his son but must be cousin or Nephew.
My gggggrandfather was William Stewart who's son Edward married Mary Ford about 1785. They sold the land Edward received from his father in 1789 an followed his father in law William Ford and his wife Louisa Johnson Ford to Spartanburg co. SC and are listed there in 1790.
My gggrandfather John Stewart son of Edward and Mary Ford Stewart moved with his wife Lettie/Letty and children to Carroll co. Tn about 1830. Their son James Franklin Stewart m. Cornelia Blow in Carroll co. in 1848. They moved to Naylor, White co. Ar. in 1860 or before. Naylor is just west of Cabot, Ar. if you know the area.
Most of Christopher Fords children ended up in Smith co. TN. and then to North west Ar.
If you want to write me, I can send you some stuff i have collected.
