Todd: I am trying to locate parents and siblings of my g-grandmother, Martha T. Ford of Greenville County, SC who married George Britt League who was born in Amelia County, VA. I know of at least two groups leaving Amelia and migrating to Greenville County, SC. Joab League went there about 1795 and his younger brother, Joel, my g-g-grandfather, who was the father of G. B. League, my g-grandfather, arrived sometime after 1820. I placed a message on the Ford Forum of Genforum but it has brought no results as yet. Have you checked it? There are 3,713 entries on it as of today.

My thinking is that perhaps your Fords were in one of those groups going to Greenville County, SC.
