Your Nicholas Vaughan had a son named Robert who in turn had a son named James Vaughan. James married Ann Hill. Do you know the names of James' children? Was one named John? I suspect James might be the father of my John Vaughan, who married Nancy Callicott. They lived near Amelia County, and I know that James Vaughan had a son named James Jr. that ended up in Hawkins County, TN. This is the same county that John and Nancy later moved to. John and Nancy named their first born son James, which sometimes was done to honor the name of the father's father. Do you have any information?
