Johns father was Robert Hubbard b.1832 Botetourt Co.Va. d. Alleghany Co. Va.1891. Mothers name was Frances b.1833 d. before 1862. Roberts father was Samuel W. Hubbard born around 1804 and died around 1869. Samuel's wife was Elizabeth Patterson Gillham. I don't have any info on her. Samuel and Robert Hubbard lived around the Craig-Alleghany Co. line at a place called Mill Branch. Samuel is listed in the 1850 census In Botetourt Co.
