In reply to the question of Nancy Harmon's parents, I believe she may have been one of the illegitimate daughters of Christopher Harmon. This comes from a genealogy report prepared by a woman who looked at Alleghany court records. She saw a reference to James Rogers, a son-in-law of Christopher Harmon.
