Thanks for the help but I don't think the dates will work. I'm just plain ol' stuck. This man came from somewhere. I'm so frustrated. My Greatgrandfather Patrick was born around 1865 and may have had a brother Robert. Their father's name may have been John. I've never heard their mother's name. Could have been Mary. Patrick named his first daughter Mary. They may have also been in Michigan briefly. All this I heard a couple weeks ago at the funeral of my grandfather's last sister. Unfortunately she hadn't been very alert the past few years. Thanks anyway.....Sherri
