The executor of my 3rd great grandfather, Richard Roberts, who died in 1810 in Albemarle Co, VA, was John Watson, L.M. Does anyone know who he was and what L.M. stands for? I can't find a translation for that abbreviation or acronym anywhere. He seems to have been a notary or had some kind of official position. Any suggestions accepted gratefully!
