I agree with you entirely with one caveat. ALL of my information that is placed on the web for others to use carries this caveat, "If the information does not have sources, do your homework. If the information does have sources do your homework. This information is placed here in it's raw form."
I do not mind placing data on the web which may be incorrect, for it may lead someone to information that they may or may not be able to find on their own and it may give them other leads. Others, like you, may not agree. It is your right and I respect that.
When I get ready to publish I too try to insure that all data is true, accurate and supported by pimary sources. That is not the purpose of the site which I allowed you to peruse, without hesitation.
If you wish to correct the information and place your sources there fine, however I suspect you had rather profit from your research, rather than truly share with and help others.
