Gordon--don't believe that Horace White and his wife Luella would have been Alice's mother remarried. James Robert Doak died in 1926 and his wife Luella (Uzzell) died 4 Nov. 1919-- 7 years before her husband and before the 1920 census. I do have her death certificate somewhere which states she died of a goiter.

We have my father-in-law's (Joseph Dennis O'Connor's) Catholic Daily Devotional Prayer Book he had as a child--inside it lists 1339a Aubert, St. Louis, Mo as their address--might be around late 1920's. Constance
