Hi Kathryn

Thank you for responding. My grandparents were William Jackson Uzzell and Alice Virginia Pierce Uzzell. They had 4 children.
My father was there oldest son.

My grandfather's father was Ocie J. Uzzell and his wife was Clara Bland Uzzell. My Grandfather was the youngest of 4 sons.

Letcher Thomas Uzzell
Melvin M. Uzzell
Otney Uzzell
William Jackson Uzzell
and 2 daughters.

Ocie J. Uzzell was one of the children of William H. Uzzell and Texanna Vaughan. I have a copy of the census that shows this but could not seem to trace back any further because I believe of name change. I was told by my grandmother that someone in the family came from the country chec (can't spell).

The only one that I have not been able to find death records to is Otney but I believe or recall in the census that his name was something else.

Well this is what I think I know.

Thanks for your help.

Cecelia Ann
