My grandmother was Ruth Amanda Stephens Smith Peterson Wells. Her parents were George Stephens and Alice Pingree Stephens. I do not know any dates for George or Alice. Ruth was born in Ogden, Utah on September 03, 1906. She died in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 6, 1991.

Ruth Stephens married Steven William Smith on April 19, 1926, in the Salt Lake Temple. Steven W. Smith later died on December 18, 1946. They had five children: Steven Jr., Eldon, Owen, Connie, and Shirly. I believe Steven W. Smith was also born in Ogden, Utah, but I am not sure. I do not know Steven W. Smith's parents names, but I would like to find out.

Steven Smith, Jr. is Steven W. Smith and Ruth A. Stephens Smith's first son. He is my father. Steven Jr.'s wife is Roseanne G. Smith, and I am Karen Smith.
