James Marion Harris b. 10-5-1868 in MS or AL.
He moved to Utah in 1888 when he converted to the Church (LDS) His children's names were: * Effie * Esther * Ruby
Charles Thomas Harris b. 4-16-1870 (James's brother) was married to Blanche Shay Harris b. 7-31-1886
They had 1 child together (my ggrandpa)
Claude Owen Harris b. 6-5-1904 in Ogden, UT.(Weber Co.)
Rumor has it that for some reason unknown to me, that Charles left Blanche and took Claude with him. They moved to San Fransisco, Calif.and were there during the "Great Quake of 1906" So Claude had to be less than 2 yrs. old when this took place. Sometime (?) later Charles then took Claude and left him with his (Charles') father and step-mother in Alcorn/Old Tishamingo Co. in Mississippi.
This is where Claude died too. That I know of, Claude never saw his mother (? father ?) again.
I had heard from someone that they thought Blanche had lived and died somewhere in Northern Clif.
Chances are very well that she probably re-married after Charles left.
