I have been given a copy of my family tree, on it I see that Eli WHITEAR b 25th April 1827 in Preston Candover, Hampshire,England.
He died on 3rd Jan 1908 in Morgan, Utah.
He apparently had three wives.
1. Susan Maria BROOKS
2. Ann Maria HALL
3. Eleanor Sarah HALL (sister of Ann)

Eli's sister Elizabeth also went out to the USA at about the same time with her husband and children. His name was Joseph SERMON and he died at Devils Gate Wyoming in Nov 1856.
Elizabeth went on to San Francisco.

Any Descendents out there???
