Thanks for the information. Without a final divorce decree on file, the subsequent marriages of Douglas and Leonda to other spouses would be invalid. To complicate the legal issues is the fact that without a divorce, the child given up for adoption by Leonda in 1983, is legally the child of Douglas, even if Douglas was not the biological father.
