Jane, you asked if the senior J.P was a carpenter. I just went back into the 1880 Utah census and he is listed there as a carpenter.

I noted in the 1920 census, it says they came over in 1878. The ship records are for 1877. But again an easy mistake. The censu also says they became citizens in 1890.

Do you have any suggestions on where and how else I can search for this family. I would really love to find their descendents. We have all of Troels Christian Jensen's family, of course. But no clue to what happened to his brother J.P and family.

Thanks again and again.

Sylvia
