Jane. I think you found them! I really do. In my notes I have "Kirstine Marie Jensen, his wife, became Christine" and then I drew a line through it and wrote Catherina. Christine is the wife's name in the census. I know the ages are off, 72 when they should have been 75, but that happens often in censuses. J.P.'s brother, Troels Christian Jensen, my husband's ggrandfather, was a carpenter, so that occupation seems to have run in the family. Also family stories say T.C died either in Utah or Idaho. The son J.P. was listed as 49. which he could have been depending on when the census was taken. I wonder why the family cannot be found between the 1880 census and 1920 census, which I never thought to look at. Yes, I think you have found the right J. P. Jensen. I will go into the 1930 census for Canyon County and see what I can find there. It will take awhile as I'll need to search page by page. Thanks, again, Jane. You are so appreciated!
