Can anyone help with the Steele family. (Dessie) Algua Steele married a Herbert Kenneth Boone. Her parents were Joel Pierce Steele and Jessie Pauline Howard. As far as I can tell Joels parents were Jesse Pierce Steele and Anna Sornsen. Although I also show Jesse Pierce married to a
Nanacy Alexander and it looks like (maybe at same time?).Now I have some old papers faded with John Steele and Susannah Jackson as the parents of Jesse Pierce. It is faded but as far as I can make out, looks like his parents.
Problem I have is I also have another John Steele ( or the same) married to Catherine Campbell. Also a John Steele & Nancy Kennedy born in Ireland, with a son Mahonri. They seem to have all ended up in Utah. Some were in the Mormon Battlion. Also some were missionarys, counselors in Panguitch stake presidency,, first counselor to Barown Stake,as well as being a Patriarch. All in the LDS Church. At least my daughter was pretty sure of that.
If anyone can help sort out the Johns in the right order would really appreciate it. Didn't think the Steele side would be so complicated. Many ,many children.
