I am looking for roots & the name Charles Tonne is the name of my biological father. I don't know much about him, my mother married him when he was about 45 & she was only in her 20's. Thier relationship was pretty rocky. I want to make sure I am talking about the same guy... His name was Charles W Tonne, he married my mother- Sharon Sims/Quinteros/Tonne in San Francisco in the 1970's, he died in the 1990's. I don't have much more info than that. I have heard rumor (my mom doesn't talk a lot about him at all) that he had lived in Wyoming, Utah, California (of course), and West Virginia. I was told that my name was a French name pronounced To Nay & spelled Tonne'. Am I barking up the wrong tree?
