I am searching for the death date/place for a person by the name of John Lewis/Luke/Lou/Lew Casner (b.1851 IA) who died in 1-1903 "on the banks of the San Juan River of a heart attack while out hunting quail". Unfortunately, I do not know which San Juan River nor in what state.
Does Utah have a death index? If so, would someone be so kind to check it to see if John Lewis Casner is listed? Or are the deaths of that time fram listed in the county clerk's office of each county?
Any and all information appreciated.
