Robert R. Graham, 1846-1849 Texas, Mexico

I'm still looking for Robert R. Graham from North Argyle, NY who was associated with the US-mexican war effort in some way, possibly a contractor. I have searched all NARA military files and have not located him.

I'm now looking for resources in the Matamoros & Brownsville Texas area for 1846-1849 that may indicate the hospital he died in (march 1849), where he was buried or a chance to find mention of him in local news. His death was noted in "From the Rio Grande" in the New York Herald, originally in the Brownsville American Flag paper.

I hope there is someone local to the war area who can help or a US-Mexican war buff who can suggest new places to look.

Thanks so much!
