Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

These are the names listed in the index for Ford:
Charles W., 426
James M., 526
James N., 466
John W., 422
Nathan D., 533
Thomas H., 439

(Roster is included in Vol. 12 of Official Roster of Ohio Soldiers in the War of Rebellion. I found a copy online and saved it as a PDF file and found the index for this part somewhere else. Will post the link to both if I can find them again.)

Maybe your William was Charles or John, who went by their middle name?
