Thank you. that is my Elijah Hanon. First document that confirms him in Oregon was 1853 Census, Marion Co.) rest you have. Widow, Sarah Ann Hale married a Dayton Simison 1 year after Elijah's death. He is buried in an old Pioneer Cem,(Hale/Syracuse with daughter Ozena (Hanon)Livingston, inlaws, William and Sarah (Borders) Hale and his son Lawrence Elijah Hannon. Thank you, I just found the Archives.org yesterday and I will join it. I have researched at the Oregon State Archives but it is hour and 1/2 away so this will make it easier. Can't thank you enough for your interest. This is my brick wall, about 10 years looking. Thanks for info on Elijah Homan and Julie and Cordellia,I can cross him off.
