Ga.His parents are William & Rutha Jane Wilson McDonald.He was in Clarke, Lauderdale Co.He married Martha Jane Martin, abt.1840, one son, Matthew Green, born Aug.2, 1842,Lauderdale Co. Ms.James M. served as a Pvt.in Captain W.J. Daniel Company (F)Second Regiment of Miss. Foot Volunteers, enrolled Jan. 4th, 1847.Honorably discharged July 11,1848.Request for land Bounty July 19,1848,from New Orleans, La."Direct my warrant when issued to me thru" Marion P.O., Lauderdale Co. Ms.He married Elizabeth Rebecca Welch Satcher,May 4, 1867, Lauderdale Co.Ms.James' army record lists him as 5'10", red hair,Blue eyes. Are you related? Ruth M.Scruggs
