DIED -- in this city, Feb. 23rd, of consumption, Jno. McGEE, aged 36 years, a member of the 1st New York Regiment and a native of New York city. [New York ‘Herald’ and ‘Tribune’ copy.]
DEATH of a PIONEER -- Some 8 or 10 of the surviving members of Col. STEVENSON’s 1st New York Regiment, who arrived here in 1847, attended yesterday the burial of one of their old comrades, Mr. John McGEE, who belonged to the same Regiment. The burial services were read by Major General S.A. BOOKER.
